The Challenge
Exterior remodels are often full of surprises, and this deck remodel was no different. The client‘s old deck had taken its fair share of abuse from the elements over the years. Thanks to the way it was originally built, both the structural integrity and the aesthetics had suffered. Not only was it unsightly, but it had also become unsafe.
With warmer days on the horizon, the client was poised for a new beginning—something beautiful, low-maintenance, and sturdy that wouldn‘t break the bank. Our mission? To provide them with a deck they could enjoy for years to come without stress.
The Solution
To guarantee the new deck would last for decades to come, the best decision was to start fresh, removing the old deck, railings, and footers completely. Now that all the old deck was out of the way, we got to work creating the client’s new dream come true.
We laid and installed new footers with care, giving the deck a solid, lasting foundation and room for the new amenities they wanted, like pretty composite decking and sleek wire railings that meet local building codes.
The payoff? A gorgeous, long-lasting deck that met all the client’s expectations, within budget.
